Professional Supervision

Active participation in professional supervision is a core practice standard for social workers, as outlined in the Practice Standards (AASW, 2013). As senior Clinician within ACCESS Programs (EAP) and The Hospital research Foundation Group (THRFG) Parkinson’s SA & NT and THRFG -Stroke SA Maggie was responsible for the clinical and Reflective practice supervision of social workers dealing with trauma and complex counselling clients, all allied health team members within a multidisciplinary team, as well as numerous Masters of Social Work students on placement. Maggie has also been employed by Flinders University as an External Field Supervisor for Masters of Social Works students. One on one clinical and small group reflective supervision sessions are provided in accordance with the AASW practice standards and count towards annual CPD.
